This book is an amazing sci-fi 54 page. story made by popular science writer Mohan Sundara Rajan The book cosmic Gift is a science-fiction book related to many futuristic topics such as Bio- chemistry, Astro – Biology, Astronomy, and neurology.
It is about a meteorite which came to Earth and was discovered by a captain called Uttama who reports it to his friend Prof. Maruthi of the Kavallur observatory. The scientists researched about the meteorite and found it was an extra-terrestrial message to earth. Then another meteorite came and in it there was a complex chemical formula. The chemical formula is made up of amino acid protein. American scientists suggested testing it on humans. After a test on the rats which made the rats a bit more intelligent than they used to be, it was tested on three children Ramu, Laxman and Tharangini who were not good at their studies. Then the children were more intelligent than they thought. So, they became important scientists of the research, and saved the world from oil pollution and nuclear missiles. At last, tragically Ramu was dead and the other two children went away from the solar system and ventured into the universe.
