800 years ago there was a sheep former. While he was walking in the hill he found a pot of treasure. Using that treasure he became a local king in there. The dynasty he found was named in the title of “Kon” .Because that he found the fort in the hill, he builds the three forts ,and the main tower in the hill, where he got the treasure, and the other two forts at the nearby hills. His name was Ananda Kon . After that, his son Krishna Kon renamed the fort as Krishna Giri. After a long time king Krishna Deva Raya took over the kingdom. He gave new names to the hills. He even made additional erections. The most important hill which is the most important one , and is called Raja Giri .
