Manora is an old fort which was built when British was ruling India. This column was built by king Sarafoji – II also erected by British government in the year of 1814. This fort was built to commemorate the victory of the British over Napoleon also because . it has a tower of eight stories and, is 75 feet tall. the floors are Hexagonal in shape. There are inscriptions in Tamil, English, Urdu, and Telegu about the same.
